ie6 will only allow 1 window at a time

Just last night my ie6 started refusing to allow more than one window to be
open. With one window open, If I click the desktop Icon to open another
window it opens Ok then the other window closes. As a computer Science
Student I need to be able to open many windows at a time.

As I said this was ok until last night, does anyone have a suggestion as to
how I can rectify the problem.

Do you think I should Uninstall ie6 and reinstall, if yes can you explain
how to uninstall ie6.

Do you have a pop up stopper installed? Try holding down the control key on
the keyboard as you open another window. If you have a pop up stopper
installed, this may over ride the program for that one click.

This exact problem started happening to me also. ***Very
annoying*** Any help would be appreciated.
