I am running IE 6 on a Win98 machine and just recently
the following problems have occurred.
1. When I right mouse click on a link and then tell IE
to "open in new window" nothing really happens. The top
part of the existing window goes greyish for a second but
then I'm right back in my existing window.
Interestingly, IE will create a new window if I go
through File->New.
2. IE will not print. I click on print, I hit CTRL-P,
and I've gone through File->Print and none of these
options will bring up the print dialogue box.
3. I've tried running Windows Update and I get as far as
clicking on the accept box that pops up after click
install, however after clicking "Accept" the box goes
away but the Download/Install Progress box does not
appear.
Any help you could offer is greatly appreciated.
