I can't view the source of any page when it's in HTTPS.

This didn't work this way on IE 5.x. Because of the
MSBlaster worm, I had to upgrade to IE6.

WTF is up with this? Anyone else have this?

Just empty your Temporary Internet Files (Folder)

Or, if you have a shortcut name Notepad on your Desktop rename it Npad

Thanks, but I've emptied the Temp. Internet Files.

And, I don't have a short-cut on my desktop.

I should have said this before:

The symptoms are actually different than not being able to
view the source (clicking and then nothing happens) -- the
menu option is actually disabled. I CAN'T click on it.

I'm at my wits ends with this.

Any other ideas? Anyone?

Go to Start | Run and type
regedit and press <Enter>.
Search for the value NoViewSource and delete every instance of it.

Ok - I finally narrowed it down to the OS/IE combination:

Windows 2000, Service Pack 4
IE 6, Service Pack 1 + Hotfixes: Q818529; Q330994

It seems that the Windows OS service pack made more of a
difference (found a workstation w/ Service Pack 2 and it
worked fine).

I was eventually able to figure it out. Under Tools -->
Internet Options --> Advanced Tab --> Security Category: I
removed the checkmark from "Do not save encrypted pages to
disk"

Worked like a champ from there out.

Whew. That sucked.
