Ok, I have had a problem for about 2 weeks now where my
Internet Explorer will not download the updates from the
Windows Update Page. I can select the "add" button and
press "Instal" to bring up the "Accept The Terms" dialog
box, but after that it just sits there telling me it is
preparing to download. I have left it running like that
for 45 minutes on DSL and it didnt show any signes of
movement. IT DOES, however, automatically update itself
with critical updates when I am just connected to the
internet...but I would really like to be able to choose
the recommended updates from the update page. Hope that
someone knows what is going on.

P.S. - I have Windows XP pre-installed on my laptop. I
have uninstalled and reistalled my antivirus software.
(McAfee) I have reinstalled IE6 by selecting the
IE6.inf/"install"...I am out of ideas. :0!!!!!
