IE6 under Win98 doesnt remember being maximised

Hi

I have a retired friend who is still happily running a Windows 98SE PC.

He says that just recently when he starts IE(6) he has to maximise it each
time.

I explained that it should "remember" the size and position of the last
instance of IE when its closed.

I told him to ensure that its maximised before he closes it and that it is
the only window running IE.

He insists it is but again each time he starts a new instance of IE its back
to the previous non maximised size.

Is there a way to reset the window size and position?

1. Start > Programs > Right-click on Internet Explorer > Properties > Run >
Maximized & OK your way out.

IE6 doesn't remember "maximized".

Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.
