IE6 Unable to to Download

Message occurs everytime I try to download a file --->IE
was not able to open internet site. The requested site
is either unavailable or cannot be found.

Also the temporary internet file folder has no location
listed. It is presently showing an amount of "o" disk
space to use. It will not allow me to change it from 0.
Need your assistance in correcting these problems. Thank
you!
