IE6 STARTUP MS-DOS WINDOW FLASHES

When I try to activate the IE icon, a ms-dos window
flashes on/off very quickly, and that's it. Computer
in good shape otherwise. Ran Spybot & System Restores,still
happens. Pls. advise, thank you.

At Start > Run type
IEXPLORE.EXE
and press OK. If this helps, delete the IE icon from the Desktop and
create a new shortcut by dragging the C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe file to the Desktop.
