I've noticed over the past several years that some of my buddies and I who
use IE6 SP2 in XP Home Edition experience intermittent hanging of IE6 even
even when not switching to new pages, but merely scrolling down the same page.
All of us realized that we can promptly IE going again by logging off and
logging back into our identity. Otherwise, we wait for even up to several
minutes.
We'd gotten so used to the problem and the "fix" that we didn't really delve
into a permanent fix.
The hanging persists even when we delete files, cookies, etc.
I searched the Microsoft Knowledge base and couldn't find a solution.
Anyone else encountered this specific problem?
Thanks!
