Some software has "hijakked" my IE6 and removed all the
menus and toolbars - all I have is the title bar. I've run
Ad Aware 6.0 to get rid of all the scumware and installed
SP1, but all my menus are still gone. How do I get them back?
I can't even enter a URL to go to - I'm using Netscape now
(which I prefer for email) but I like IE6 for browsing.

Scott,
Did you try: "F11" (key)

Download: ResetBrowserToolbar.reg

Perhaps you still have some (hijack) leftovers?
Go to: http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/

Sign in, go to the "Spyware and Hijackware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic", copy and paste hijackthis.log into your new message.

That's got it - F11 restored the menus and toolbars,
although they looked weird. Running the reg file set it to
rights completely. Many thanks!
