Every time I close a new window or close Internet Explorer.
It says Internet Explorer has incountered a problem and
must shut down,I keep "reporting" the problem as it asks.I
just updated from 5.0 in July and since then have had this
problem. I notice that many others are having the same
problem. I'm also having trouble with Little red 'X's in
place of writing and pictures. I've done all ten of the
things listed in microsoft newsletter Thingie, the all the
other suggestions from people having this problem. Nothing
works. It's making surfing tedious, I might as well have a
dial-up connection, because I'm constantly having to reset
from WE(ISO) to WE(windows)under encoding. It's like
having to refresh every single page.Help!!!
Please help.

Read this article and make sure that you have all the .nls files and that
your registry settings are correct.

Some have clear this problem by repairing IE.
Add/Remove programs/MS/IE repair.
