Susan

There are several files that my system shows the links as having been
visited despite erasing the history and clearing the cache, etc.

Can anyone help me to clear these? Is there someplace this information is
stored besides the usual places?

Thanks

I should clarify that I meant several "sites", not files.

The "usual places" being the history folder. Am running XP pro.

Susan,
Possibly your History folder is corrupt:
[XP\2K]
Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder(s).
[example]
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"

Following the instructions the problem still has not been resolved.
