I see a lot of threads complaining about trying to install IE6 and getting
the message that it won't because "a newer version already exists on the
machine." I too believe my IE6 has become corrupted and needs a fresh
install to my Win2000XP pro system.
Surely there must be someone out there with enough MS savvy to share what
kind of registry entry change one can make to circumvent this ridiculous
hangup. Help!
