For some reason, my IE program is acting strange, and I'm wondering if I
inadvertently changed some of the settings. One thing is the resolution of
pictures that are shown on IE pages. They seem blotchy (?) and fuzzy. Any
picture with writing on it is unreadable. If I save the picture and bring
it up in one of my photo programs, it looks fine. Any suggestions? The
second thing is the drop down menus under 'Favorites'. For some reason,
they only show the places I have been to recently, rather than the whole
list. It used to show the entire dropdown list. Any suggestions as to how
to fix this is greatly appreciated.

I can answer the question about Favorites. Go to the tools menu,
internet options, advanced tab. Unselect the option to enable
personalized favorites. Apply and okay your way out.

For the question about unclear images, this is only a guess. In the
internet options general tab, look at accessibility settings to see if
any changes have been made. (Wouldn't hurt to empty your temporary
internet files and offline content while you're at the general tab.)

Thanks, Maureen. I did what you said, and it worked. Also, not sure why,
but my pictures cleared up also. It may have been due to emptying temp
files, but I'm not sure, as I routinely empty them anyway. Thanks again!
