Good morning,
We're launching a new web page and we ran into a glitch. We think it has to
do with a Windows update that was recently applied to our server machine or
our client machine.
I've asked my co-worker to write the detailed sequence to this board. In the
meantime, I will try to describe what she showed me:
1. Open windows explorer and execute an ASP page. This ASP page runs a
report against a database that takes a few minutes to complete.
2. Minimize the IE window while the report is running.
3. Open a new window from this window.
4. When the report is run in the ASP page, run another report.
In this sequence of events, one of the windows or both will have a
screenshot of the desktop within the IE display and the display you are
expecting from the page will be blocked by this desktop screenshot.
It sounds obscure but we have had 3 people reproduce it. Hope someone on
this board can help.
