Ive lost my home page and cant get it back ive tried my internet options and it changes but when i log off it goes back too the bogus one ive ran adware several time and no help

Did this just happen? I just went online, & my Antivirus picked up a file,
making out to be ebay. " files\content\.iE5\ etcetcetcetc
ebaylsal.dll&viewitem=" it was trying to take over my home page. go offline,
go to control panel/ internet options clear cookies and history and most
important delete files and all offline content. I found the AVirus cleaned
page in there. also look in msconfig start ups. And
Start/programs/startup.. You may need to go into registry??? Run services
etc. Look in your AVirus program quarantine, may be in there.
