IE6 Security Updates

Hello,
I am confused about IE6sp1 cumulative updates and would appreciate any help
with the following:
- Does Dec.2004 Update (889293) include Oct.2004 (834707) Update?
Does it also include q810847.exe and q813951.exe?

I studied all related links, but could not get a clear answer to this.
Does "cumulative" mean it includes absolutely ALL updates released before
and I can just go ahead and install the Dec.2004(889293)?

Hi Jane,
I have all the IE updates on my system (XP Pro SP2) and they work fine. I'd
recommend updating to the most recent updates. And yes, to my knowledge, all
updates include previously released updates for that particular release (in a
service pack mode). Otherwise, they are stand-alone.

Yes.

Yes, or newer files which replace those included in 810847 and 813951.

Yes.

Best to rely on Windows Update for updates and patches your machine needs
rather than picking & choosing ones you think it needs, Jane.

If you're running WinXP, enable Automatic Updates to take care of this for
you.
