IE6 retarded??

I have used internet explorer password prompt done everything I know of as
far as settings but for some reasoneven though I have my home page(my yahoo)
set to remember password for 2 weeks every time I use IE I have to sign in.
This is ridiculous. Is there a cure or fix? Firefox recalls login and
password for indefinate amount of time. And please do not suggest installing
IE7. More bugs, flaws,and defects in it than in IE6.

= Click Start >> Control Panel>>Network and Internet Connections >> Double
click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Tabs:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced.

Click Content Tab then click Autocomplete button and check this check boxes:
Use AutoComplete for:
[ ] Web addresses
[ ] Forms
[ ] User names and passwords on forms
[ ] Prompt me to save passwords.

Click [OK] and back on the IE properties click Advanced tab, under Browsing
Option check this box:
[ ] Use Inline AutoComplete.
Click [OK] to close and then Reboot your machine and see if the memory okay?.
