IE6 requires full URL

All of a sudden IE^ requires the full url
including "http://www." is required for all addresses.
This was never required before. Any thoughts?

Check the below Registry entries vs. yours:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\DefaultPre
fix]
Default="http://"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\Prefixes]
"ftp"="ftp://"
"gopher"="gopher://"
"home"="http://"
"mosaic"="http://"
"www"="http://"

person who posted the problem I was having the same

something.
