On dynamic sites such as Amazon and eBay, the initial
number in prices is replaced with a question mark (eg ?
3.50; ?2.95). I would like to re-install ie6 to see if
that fixes the problem, but XP doesn't seem to allow
that. Can anyone give me advice on the question mark
problem and if required, how to re-install ie6?

Hi,

That ? part might be the euro-sign. Do you have the euro installed on your
machine?

Kind regards

I had this problem and solved it by setting the encoding
on the browser to central european windows. (right click
on webpage and choose encoding
