I have tried removing I-loopkup from my computer by
clearing out the registry, running virus scans, spyware,
etc. It still keeps coming back. What am I missing? How
do I change my default IE 6 homepage and keep it permanent.

Try clicking View then Toolbars. I-lookup should be
listed. Uncheck it. Then see if it is listed in Control
Panel Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall it.

Carla,

Get ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/ToolbarCop.exe

ToolbarCop removes the Toolbars, Toolbar buttons and unwanted
menu-extensions from Internet Explorer. It does not remove the spyware from
the system entirely. It is advisable to run Ad-Aware scan
(www.lavasoftusa.com), if the toolbar entries are not removed.

SpyBot S&D searches your harddisk for Spyware and Adware

&

Adaware (similar)

(Remember to perform a Webupdate to have the latest definitions installed)
