Can someone give me some advice on how to repair or reinstall IE6 on
Windows 2003 Server (AD)- there is a mass of confusing info out there !

What problems are you having that you think might be rectified by
repairing/reinstalling IE6?

I like to know how to do that, Im having some kind of problems wint my IE6
under Win 2003; and lately i get the error message "done but with error" in
the status bar then, when I click on it, it says something like this "Line:
XX char XX, error: object is not connected to server code: 0" and any of the
pages could not be loaded with the embedded link unless I copy the shortcuts
and paste in the address bar then go... sometimes either work.

I posted in this forum my case some days ago, but I still without solution.
So, how to repair or reinstall IE6 on Windows 2003 Standard Edition,
please...

thanks in advance

To repair or reinstall IE6 in Win2K03, you'd have to do a repair or
reinstall of Windows, Hiram.

From your last post, I'd have to say your problem's most likely being caused
by hijackware. In that case, only formatting and reinstalling Windows will
fix it; a Repair Install will not.

If you'd like to try resolving the hijackware problem:

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
