IE6 quits after entering Online Virus Check

Hello to everyone !

I have a problem with my Internet explorer 6...

When I try to perform FREE ONLINE VIRUS/TROJAN CHECK at
the Trend Micro
(PC-Cillin) or any other online virus checker, my
Internet Explorer 6 just
crashes and gives me a message: "Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem
and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
It never happened
before. I remember I was able to do online virus check
before without any
problem...

I repaired Internet Explorer as Microsoft explained to do
and nothing
helped.

My System:
Athlon XP 1700+, 384 Mb DDRAM, 40 Gb HD WDC, OS=WinXP SP1
(all Microsoft
critical updates are up). My PC is protected with Avast!
Home Edition
Antivirus and Zone Alarm Free Edition 4.5.538.000. Never
got any report of
virus presence...

Please help me, it drives me nuts !

Yes. My programs runs with auto-update... every second or third day, I can
see new definition or reference file...
