Hi,

Using IE6 on both win2K and XP, I have had the following
issue several times and would like to know if there is any
help for me out there....

While Browsing I click on a link that opens another
window. At this point IE crashes and displays an error
message (sorry do not have the exact text) but it
continues to run allowing me to shut it down so I think.
But if I look in the Task Manager I see that it is still
loaded in memory and if I try to run IE again it is very
unstable. If I kill the process then restart IE it is
fine. Anyone know what the deal is?

The exact error would help a lot. Meanwhile, make sure you don't have any
malware installed. See
