Hi everyone, we are experiencing a problem only seen in Web Access in
Internet Explorer 6 and Office 2007 files. Say, for example, a user
received the file test.docx in OWA, when that user goes to save it to
their computer, he right clicks the attachment and selects 'save
target as'. A save dialog box appears, but instead of having
Microsoft Office file type, it has ZIP archive file type. When the
user hits save, it saves the file as test.zip while the attachment in
the email is listed as test.docx.
We have checked the file associations and everything is correct. We
are on Outlook 2003 and, as I mentioned, Office 2007.
We have found that this problem only occurs in Internet Explorer 6.
If we try it in IE7 or Firefox we have no problem and the file type
shows as MS office as it should.
Any help would be appreciated.
