I use IE6 SP2. My home page is set to my.msn.com. When I open IE, the
browser is taking me to my.msn.com/?vv=410. Does anyone know why it is
adding /?vv=410

Is this normal behavior or is it indicitvie of some security problem?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Perhaps it is something being added from your Cookie(s) for that site?

You could find out for sure by using FiddlerTool.
E.g. that way you would see if that string was contained in Cookie information
on your initial request. Then a redirect with that string appended
as CGI data would make sense.

I wouldn't be worried *if* the Cookie contained that string.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
