Folks
I have a peer to peer network featuring 1 XP machine, and 2 W2k machines. Everyone can see everyone else, and I can share printers, scanners and a variety of other stuff (sorry to all those people out there who seem to be suffering with those problems.. I've been through that and I know how annoying that can be)

However, I have an ADSL modem connected to the XP machine but for the life of me I can't get any of the other machines on the network to access the web via Internet Explorer or Outlook Express.. yet I CAN ping machines across the web from the W2K box ! It's very frustrating

Any suggestions very welcom

sounds like DNS issue.make sure all computers have correct DNS settings. Or
post the result of ipconfig /all.
