IE6 not printing

Hello there,
Please help...when I print from IE version 6...I got an error message...and
here is the message "Function address 0x4f53efd0 caused a protection fault.
(exception code 0x0000005) Some or all property page(s) may not be displayed.

Hi Calvin,
Are you loged as Admin on your machine and have all priveleges and the
printer is set to print and *online* not *offline*.
Do you have Windows Firewall Enabled, try to confogure the print option
there or Disable the Firewall and try to print.
Can you print while you are not using IE (i.e. print from Notepad,word
docs....etc..).

Hello Nass,

Yes, I log in as admin. and the printer is online. Also no firewall enable,
and OK to print from word,excel sheet, notpad but not from IE6. I used to
print from IE6 before but not now and don't know what happen.

Hi Calvin,
Did you ever have been able to print or this a new Printer.
Check in the IE properties under Security Tab and select Custom level and
see if the Print option is Enabled.
=> Another to try what will happen on an IE page when you select File >>
Print, do you see your Printer there.
Please post back with your findings.

Hi Nass,

No, it's not a new printer and I was ok to print before. when I click on
File and print, it gives me that error message and Yes, i do see my printer.
when I Check in the IE properties under Security Tab and select Custom level,
I don't see the Print Option listed in there.

Hi Calvin,
Open a Run Command and type the following;
regsvr32 aoleaut32.dll and press OK the reboot and see if you could print.
If no joy read this article it apply on IE5.5?

=> I meant on the IE Propertise on Advanced Tab under Print Option;
