Windows 2000 Professional

IE6 SP1 plus lot of updates.

I have just run windows update and there are no updates for my computer.
(I install 3 earlier this week).

If I go to NASA TV

http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html

There is an option called

Watch NASA TV live with Windows Media Player

If I click on this link a "SMALL" media window opens up in the bottom
left hand corner of the screen and the video starts to play OK.

If I click on a small button to the bottom right of the video screen the
window enlarges and becomes floating and easy to resize.

How, if at all possible, can I get it to open up in a separate floating
window be default?

Thanks

Hi nospam :-)

I've been playing around with my media player 9 series ine in W2K Pro, not
sure what yours might be, and you might try the following:

Take the small window by the top with the mouse and raise it up to the top
of the upper left hand side of your screen. In the lower right hand side of
the media screen window, there may be a small indentation or a spot with
some lines at that corner. Ease your mouse cursor over the corner until you
get the double sided arrow line and then drag the corner of the window frame
down to the lower right corner of your screen as large as you want. Then
close out using the X at the upper right corner area, then reopen it and see
if it stays the size you set it.

Hope this helps
