IE6 locks up after installed Live messenger 8

Ive recently instaled a web cam and need Live Messenger to use it.
When Live 8 was installed, my IE6 browser keeps locking up when attempting
to open a link within another page.
Ive deinstalled Live 8 and IE6 works okay again, but the kids are not very
happy with me.

an update. There might be a new version.

Recently - 2nd of Feb, and I deinstalled 3rd feb

Thanks, but issue resolved, by reinstalling without the toolbar option.
