IE6 keeps shutting down

hello,

since yesterday i have an annoying problem with IE6 (under WinXP): it keeps
shutting down (at least it apologizes for the inconvenience...) - especially
when i visit sites with a streaming like for example rock1053.com. however,
i also encountered the problem while writing an e-mail under aol.com.

does anybody have some piece of advice? can i perhaps uninstall IE6 and
reinstall it? i already run norton antivirus but didn't find any bug.

thanks for your help - i really don't feel like setting up the whole system
again...
