IE6 is VERY sluggish

Curlybones

Running IE6 on XP Home for a year now. Using cable
modem. Ran beautifully until the past month when it has
become intolerably slow. Netscape 7.0 and 7.1 still run
perfectly. Any suggestions? Thanks.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
