IE6 - IMAGES

For some reason I can't view images on some sites (eg:
www.barker-stonehouse.co.uk). When I send friends the same links they can
view the images but I can't. This doesn't occur on all sites, but happens
often enough for it to be a nuisance.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cheers, Sandy.

Hi Sandy,

Check your Internet Explorer Security Settings for the Internet Zone.
Tools>Internet Options

On the Secrity Tab, for the Internet Zone check that you have Download
signed ActiveX controls and Download unsigned ActiveX controls enable
selected.

Alternatively if you visit this site frequently, add it to your trusted
zone.

Generally it is a good idea to keep your security level high for general
surfing and then to add sites to your trusted zone once you know that they
can be trusted.

Tip: to display your security settings quickly, double-click on the internet
icon that is displayed in the status bar of Internet Explorer.

I don't use McAfee, but I'll try some of the hints form the link you gave.

Thanks.

Hi,
McAfee Privacy Service has been causing this problem. If it's enabled,
disable it.

Other possibilities at: http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/redx.htm

Hope this helps,
