IE6 ILLEGAL OPERATION

When I have been on the Internet for a few minutes it
gives me an illegal operation message and kicks me off, if
I am using media player it gives the blue screen FATAL
EXCEPTION OD 8026:7405FB80. Also after going to Microsoft
it wants to make Microsoft my homepage. I have uninstalled
IE6 and reinstalled but it continues.
