Hi there,

Everytime I close down IE I lose all my history. Has anyone seen this before
and is there a fix ?
I've checked all the obvious things. Seems like the Clear History button is
being fired on exit which is wierd.

Thanks

Tools | Internet Options
Scroll down to Security and uncheck the option to empty Temporary Internet
Files when IE is closed.

Thanks for the reply Frank. That option is already checked !
I've given up on this one now as I've been around the houses '000 of times
!!

In the end I've created a new User account and shifted everything over
(quite a job !) and all seems OK for now. I have a good OE backup & restore
program which I've used to move all the email stuff. You don't realise how
much you use the History tab once you don't have it.

Tried doing what you suggested. There is no box in security to uncheck when IE is closed. Am using Windows XP Home edition which came installed on my computer. Any other solutions? Thanks

I got it wrong, sorry.
