Hi,
I am running Win2k SP4 with IE6 Version:6.0.2800.1106, SP1. I have Windows
Update installed and configured so that I get regular updates. My system has
been running just fine for a long time but recently I have noticed that IE
freezes occassionally. It seems to occur after a new Explorer window has
been spawned from the original one and I close the new one. The original
window then does not respond and I have to kill it from the task manager. It
may have started after the recent Windows update this month but I am not
certain. It certainly has only been happening in the last week or two.
I have done a full virus scan (Norton AV2007) and a full Ad-Aware scan (I
do these at least weekly) but it is still happening.
..
Any suggestions?
TIA,
-GB
