IE6 filling complete window on laptop obscuring taskbar

Hi
When I open IE6, the default behavior is to occupy the entire screen covering the taskbar. Is there an adjustment to fix this so I don't have to constantly minimize the window for a good fit

Hit F11 will take you out of full screen mode.

This condition exists with F11 not engaged..

Try this fix.

Internet Explorer Calculates the Web Page Window Size Incorrectly
When you create Web pages, the screen-size calculation that is used to
determine child window locations (and other items in a parent window) may be
incorrect. This may cause child windows (and other items in a parent window)
in an HTML page to appear off center, or to appear incorrectly in the parent
window of an HTML page.
