My client had a functioning system running on Windows XP Professional. They
were POPping all their email from their ISP. When he came in the next
morning, it failed to collect the mail. Some information:
The email is accessible via webmail from the ISP.
I successfully configured another Windows XP Pro computer to get mail from
the same mailbox and it was successful.
Here are the error messages received from the computer in question:
"Your POP3 server has not responded in 60 seconds. Would you like to wait
another 60 seconds for the server to respond?"
"Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review
the list of errors below for more details.
A time-outoccurred whilecommunicating with the server. Account: <account
name>, Server <server name>, Protocol: POP3, Port 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number 0x800CCC19."
Can you help me troubleshoot and repair this problem?
