IE6 ERROR MESSAGE

I would appreciate any help or advice. I am getting an
infrequent error message when I begin to type an address
into IE6. The message is saying that there is a problem
in the user.exe setup. I was previously advised on this
board to remove Adware, which I have done, but I am still
getting the error message. I don't have any other 3rd
party Spyware programs.

Any suggestions? If I were to reload IE6, would this be a
solution? And if I load it directly from Microsoft will
be be filled with pop-ups? Or should I actually purchase
it from Comp USA?

Thanks everyone!

Hi,
Did you run CWShredder and Ad-aware and Spybot? Had they all been updated?

You might try posting a HijackThis log for analysis. Go to
http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm Work through steps 1-3, then post a
HijackThis log for analysis (step 4.) They may find something that the
programs didn't find. Be patient... they're busy.

Or, this may be an AutoComplete/History problem. Delete your History folder.
Windows will create a new one on restart. See:

Hope this helps,
Don
