OS:windows XP Home
Whenever I click on the desktop Icon or the start menu
Icon for IE it fails to open and displays an error
message.I had no problems before 8/AUG/2003.
Tried downloading the service pack from microsoft but it
did not solve the problem.
In addition to this I'm being given the following message
before my computer is shut down when I connect to the
net:"RPC(Remote procedure call)terminated
unexpectedly.Windows is shutting down.Shutdown initiated
by NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM.".
I would like to know if this is initiated by microsoft or
if I am being hacked.
I can however connect to the internet using the hotmail
link in the stat menu.
