Dear Group,

Recently pages from ebay have been returning if weird text please see
snippet below.
Does anyone have any idea on how to resolve this?
Is it some kind of spyware / hijack attempt?
It only seems to be happening with ebay.
I have sent a message to ebay and they have been no help what so ever.....
TIA
Steve

404 for the thing ebay points to for "properly configured proxy settings":

Plausible explanation by Lancashire-Lad
makes later suggestion (by burtoboots) to use Ctrl-F5 seem appropriate.

Thanks. Good points. My answer should probably be distilled down to:
1. Try a forced refresh (Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Refresh)
2. Contact NTLWorld. They've heard of the problem. Ask about alternate proxy
servers.
