IE6 Drop down menu when page open

When I am in IE6 and wish to click on a link and open a
new page, at the bottom of the menu is an unwanted item in
the menu before select all. How can I get rid of this I
have tryed repairing IE6 deleting cookies nthing works.

Go to Start | Run and type

regedit

Navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

and click on the plus (+) sign in front of MenuExt. Right click the subkey
representing what you want to get rid of and select Delete.
