Big Cal

Something has taken over my IE6. When I click on the drop
down address menu at the top of my browser, every address
I've visited has the following in front of it:

http://vrape.hardloved.com/top/search.php?id=2&s=

For example, if I visited www.pgatour.com, the address in
the drop down menu will be

http://vrape.hardloved.com/top/search.php?
id=2&s=www.pgatour.com

I've never visited this site, and I'm wondering how to
get this out of my browser? I've run various programs to
detect spyware and viruses, but still cannot get rid of
this in my address bar.

Can someone please help me?

no, aaron, if i click on them it redirects me to so many
websites and plugins that I just close the window. I hope
someone with microsoft knows how to debug IE6, if not
I'll have to re-install it.

I do have the same problem. It drives me crazy. One evening of work
lost trying to get rid of it. I can't access a site directly and so
far no luck in fixing the problem.
1/ how to get rid of it?
2/ who did it?
3/ how to sue them?

Thanks

Definitely you have been hacked.
Can you go the the site is you place http:// in front of the
www.pgatour.com, this will also be an indication of it.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

or:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
