Hi,

This is a recent problem. When I have multiple IE windows, some of them
do not come to the foreground. I have to cloes all the other windows to get
to the
IE window that I want open. It works fine in the beginning and suddenly they
stop opening up. I am using Wndows XP and I ran AntiSpyware to clean up
any spywares, but the problem persistes. Any help is highly appreciatd

Thanks

Hi Don,

I tried both the steps: edited the registry and zeroed the
ForegroundTimeOutLock.
But the problem remains. I am not sure what is causing this.

Thanks

Hi,
See:
886217- New program window appears behind all other open windows on Windows
2000, Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=886217

The UNDO file at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm (line #66
right-side) makes the same registry edit that's in 886217.

Hope this helps,

Hi,
[Speculation]
Try disabling third-party toolbars, add-ons to IE, ad-blocking programs etc.
Take a look at any program that hooks into IE6.

These programs may help:
BHODemon 2.0 http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3550.html
ToolbarCop: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/toolbarcop.htm

Which anti-spyware program(s) did you run? You may want to work through the
cleaning steps at http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm then post a HijackThis
log for analysis. Please read this message before posting a log

I removed the 3rd party toolbars and the problems seems to have gone. Thanks
a lot.
