This site appears to crash IE6. Can't figure out why. Any ideas?

Details? What does "appears to crash IE6" mean?

Do you have to do anything more than open that page to see your symptom?

I'm using the latest version of jQuery

Is that somehow relevant? There were no prompts for ActiveX from that page.
What happens if you disable scripting entirely?

It is not crashing my IE6 on XP SP3.

IE6 with cumulative SecurityUpdate from yesterday.

When whe speak of IE6 we have tomake differences :

IE6SP1 was the last version for 98,ME and 2000 - only the WIn2000 IE6 is
getting updates, the 9x version is dead since 2006.

IE6 on XP is ServicePack relevant :

On XP with no SP you have IE6 build 2600.
XPSP1 has the IE6 SP1 build 2800-
XPSP2 and XPSP3 have IE6SP2 or IE6SP3 both build 2900. These two have MORE
features than the SP1 and only the SP3 edition is supported until 2014.

I do not know why this site crashes IE but perhaps we can find out. The
simplest solution is to stop going to that website. Another thing you could
try is to download a free copy of the Mozilla Firefox browser. Then go to
that website with Mozilla. Now if it crashes with Mozilla Firefox then that
would indicate there is something wrong with that specific website or
potentially malicious script on the website. If it does not crash with
Mozilla Firefox that could indicate that the problem lies with Internet
Explorer. See if this isolates the problem and then go from there
Best Regards,
