IE6 crashing on Live.com?

For the past several days, IE6 hangs whenever I try to load live.com. I've
seen this on multiple machines. Is anyone else seeing this or know how to
fix it?

I just went there and it froze. Try going to cnn.com and see if the
same thing happens. I know many people having the same issue with the
cnn.com site. Perhaps something related? I've been going crazy trying
to track this down.

I have the same problem. Support at MS said to clean temp internet files,
remove cookies, revert to defaults, etc.. That didn't help.

My laptop has 768mb of memory, but Live Mail keeps my disk spinning almost
constantly and runs up cpu usage to 90% +. It crashes IE several times a day
It also slows down ALT+TAB switching dramatically. Just trying to navigate to
live.com also frequently crashes IE. I hope these are issues that MS is
looking into.

You're welcome - Live.com runs with much difficulty on my XP Pro
machine as well.
