IE6 cannot reach any web sites

I have W2K computer, recently reinstall of W2K and OE6.
Cannot reach the web at all. No error messages.
Another W2K machine using the same access works just fine!
What to do?

can you ping any internet sites? If not, then your networking protocols
need to be set up. If you can, then your firewall is probably blocking
port 80.
