IE6 - Cannot access Options

I have XP Home and IE6. This evening, out of the blue, while I can access
IE6 and do pretty well anything else with it, when I try to access Options,
I get the message:

This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator (which I am)

Did you install SpyBot or another ad-blocking program? Some such programs
have an option which can disable the options dialog.

Man, that's brilliant.

Yes, I do use SpyBot and Yes, under the tool 'Browser Pages' there is
mention that if under a URL, you cannot access the 'control panel' (I took
this to mean, in the case of IE, Options) you can change the URL to another.
So using the tool I changed my ISP's URL to 'About blank', restarted IE6,
when 'About blank' web page opened, opened the drop down list of URL's,
which contained my ISP's URL, selected that, it opened, then I accessed
Options (bingo), and changed Home Page to Current.

I only sent out this post about 5 minutes ago - must be the quickest answer
I have ever received! Thanks, again, deeply impressed

Thanks, Robear. No doubt you have read my earlier post. I had had the two
locks unticked (I think), and in view of what you say in your post, I shall
continue to do so.
