IE6 cannot access file that firefox can?

I cannot access pdf statements from my broker using IE6. It pops up a
dialog:

Internet Explorer cannot download ... xxxxxxxxx.pdf from
investing.schwab.com

Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.
 
Hi Peter,

Does it help to reinstall Adobe Reader? I see it behave in a strange way
lately...
