I AM RUNNING XP 2, IE6, WHEN IE REACHES A WEBPAGE IT DOWNLOADS IT BUT WILL
NOT DISPLAY IT RIGHT CLICK CAN NOT VIEW SOURCE, NO MENUS WORK CANNOT SET
INTERNET OPTIONS FROM IE6 WEBPAGE.

CAN NOT SET ENCODING, IT INDICATES "NONE" i AM ABOUT TO UNINSTALL XP2 AND
REINSTALL THE SERVICE PACK AS i CAN NOT REINSTALL OR UNINSTALL IE6

ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

NETSCAPE WORKS FINE, TO BROWSE OR DOWNLOAD, INTERNET CONNECTION IS GOOD.

I've got the same problem -- I even reinstalled Windows XP Pro. It just
stops working... I'm having to use FireFox to get to MS.
SOMEBODY has a solution.
It _maybe_ that new security update from this weekend...

What was the New update "this weekend" was it the one that says html for IE7?

If so I am glad I did not down load it on my new install

I put in a new hard drive and reinstalled everything, I am almost finished
moving all old stuff to the new hard drive. There is something wrong with
encoding it also effects my Outlook, and XP setting windows.

I can't uninstall the last update because ie will not work. I cannot choose
a new encoding there are no choices.
