Hello,

I'm using the AutoComplete funktion of the Internet Explorer. It almost
works fine, but whenever I enter a password, a dialogbox opens and
asks, if I really want to save the password. As I'm using the computer
on my own, this box is only annoying. I want the IE so save all
passwords without confirmation. Is there any possibility to get rid of
this box?

Hi,
Go to IE> Tools> Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete. Uncheck the
"Prompt me to save passwords" box.

This was the first idea I had, too. But then IE doesn't save any new
passwords.

You're right. I just tried unchecking that box. I suspect, but can't find
this documented, that the "Do you want Windows to remember this password"
prompt is a security feature. If you were using a public computer or someone
else's computer or user account, you would want to know that your password
was being saved.
